Kito Unveils New Single And Video “Steal My Clothes" Ft. Bea Miller

Kito returns with “Steal My Clothes” ft. Bea Miller – a highly relatable tale about being irresistibly drawn to someone despite their capacity for wrecking your life and raiding your closet.

Kito creates an effervescent dance-pop track with her signature production elements and distinct distorted vocal chops as Miller wryly lays out a sequence of chaotic situations. Released by Astralwerks, “Steal My Clothes” is available for download / streaming.

The official video mirrors the song’s playfulness. Miller performs for a sparse crowd at a community centre. Working the room, she finds a unique way of connecting with her audience, which includes Kito. As she stops at each table, Miller morphs into the apparel of whomever she is singing to.

The video, which can be viewed HERE, was directed by GIZELLA (Dillon Francis, Seinabo Sey), who has helmed many of Miller’s videos.

Kito and Miller are hoping to steal fans’ gently used clothing for a good cause. Their newly launched initiative with sustainable clothing donation company Give-A-Box, in partnership with Pact, makes it easy to donate clothing, shoes and accessories to local charities in need. Simply pack a donation box, print out a pre-paid shipping label, mail the package and post a picture on socials with the hashtag #stealmyclothes…for a good cause to encourage others to donate. “Steal My Clothes” is the follow-up to Recap,” Kito’s early 2021 collaboration with VanJess and Channel Tres. She’s also been busy creating acclaimed remixes for MARINA’s “Venus Fly Trap ” and CHVRCHES’ “Good Girls.

About Kito:

For Kito, making music has always been about finding a way to introduce the world to new sounds. That drive’s been there since her nascent days DJing, unearthing unheard gems, and it’s especially clear now to anyone who tunes into the Australian producer’s technicolor tracks—each subsequent song is like nothing you’ve ever heard before.

Her career, too, has been powered by unpredictable twists and turns. Just as she’s moved across the globe—Perth to London to Los Angeles—Kito’s found homes at tastemaking labels along the way: Ed Banger Records, Mad Decent and, now, Astralwerks. She has also produced a dizzying array of artists (Jorja Smith, Mabel, Banks, FLETCHER), and populated her prismatic 2018 solo EP, Haani, with guests spanning from Trinidad James to Hudson Mohawke.

Her most recent collaborations—“Follow” with ZHU and Jeremih, “Recap” with VanJess and Channel Tres, and “Steal My Clothes” with Bea Miller—shed light on Kito’s approach to futurist pop. She infuses otherwise simple tracks with complex emotions and adventurous sonic turns. Taken with her recent ecstatic remixes of Saweetie and Doja Cat’s “Best Friend,” MARINA’s “Venus Fly Trap,” and CHVRCHES “Good Girls,” Kito’s growing body of work demonstrates how just far she’s come as a producer and songwriter.

About Bea Miller:

With her EP elated!, New Jersey-born singer Bea Miller sought to make her most honest body of work yet — getting personal, political and remaining as ferocious as ever. The seven-song project includes the single “wisdom teeth,” a meditation on the lost innocence of her childhood.

At only 22, Miller has amassed more than 2.7 billion combined streams to date. Her previous projects include aurora (2018) and the Gold-selling single “like that”; three EPs released throughout 2017; and her 2015 debut album, which charted top 10 on the Billboard 200 and featured two Gold-selling hit singles.

Miller collaborated with NOTD on the global dance hit I WANNA KNOW,” (amassing over 271 million global streams on Spotify, over 20 million video views and a combined total of 630 million across all platforms), and Jeremy Zucker on “comethru.” Last year, she also teamed up with Jessie Reyez on “FEELS LIKE HOME,” 6lack on “it’s not u it’s me” and UK duo Snakehips’ on “NEVER GONNA LIKE YOU.”

In 2019, she headlined her first tour, “nice to meet u,” selling out venues across North America. She made her festival debuts at Lollapalooza, Firefly, Outside Lands, Bumbershoot, Life is Beautiful and Austin City Limits among others. Bea wrapped up the year with a second successful headline tour, “sunsets in outerspace,” which not only hit venues across North American but took her to Europe, making stops in London, Paris, Amsterdam and Berlin.
