MAUW’s “Tonight is The Night” Single Takes the Music Industry by Storm: Renowned Composer Reaches 200,000 Spotify Plays in 72 Hours

Mexican music producer, DJ and renowned composer MAUW, also known as Mauricio More, has just released his first official single under his new project name, “Tonight is The Night,” and it’s already making waves. With only 72 hours after its release, the Trance single has reached over 200,000 plays on Spotify.

MAUW is no stranger to the music industry, as he runs one of the internationally recognized promotion and strategy agencies for artists, which has recently expanded to offices in Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, the Dominican Republic and the United States. In addition, MAUW owns his own record label, Epical Records, which launched his new single.

The artist has been working on this project for over a decade, dating back to 2005 when he had his first live encounter with electronic music at the renowned “A State of Trance” event, where he met one of the biggest names in the genre, Armin Van Buuren.

MAUW has always been passionate about electronic music, specifically Trance and Progressive House, and has been a regular at festivals such as EDC and A State of Trance, where he has formed friendships and collaborations with other big names in the industry such as Vini Vici, Berg, Blastoyz, and Infected Mushroom.

In an interview, MAUW expressed surprise at the quick success of his new single but hopes to reach at least half a million streams on Spotify. He also confirmed that he is currently working on an album called “ONE,” which will feature 10 tracks produced with synthesizers, drum machines and analogues, and will be available in the middle of this year.

MAUW plans to continue his campaign with the hashtag #TranceIsNotDead, to inspire other producers who may have been overshadowed by other genres and remind them that the genre is still alive and well.
