Noizu and Westend Fire Up the Ignition With Peak-Time Tech House Collab “Push to Start” ft. No/Me on Insomniac Records – OUT NOW

House music mainstays Noizu and Westend are firing up the ignition of their new club-ready single, ‘Push to Start,’ featuring singer-songwriter No/Me, slated for release on Insomniac Records.

A long time coming, two of house music’s most prestigious names are breaking off their first-ever collaboration together. Noizu and Westend are found firing on all cylinders with “Push to Start,” roping in L.A-based artist No/Me on vocal duties to round out the release. Humming from its robust basslines, the tech house cut pulses through timeless rave triplets, pumping low-end, tension-driving risers, and slick drums. No/Me helps kick things into overdrive with her hypnotic hook, providing the track with the extra torque needed to reach primetime territory.

Touching on their fraternal bond, Noizu shares: “Westend is like a little brother to me. We’ve done loads of shows and festivals together, and it made sense to come together on a track. ‘Push To Start’ is high energy and made for big crowds, so Insomniac is the perfect home for it.”

Westend reciprocates, saying, “I’m so excited to return to Insomniac Records with Noizu. He has been a big bro to me the last few years and we finally got in the studio to write a song. We made ‘Push to Start’ for that peak-time moment in a set, when the crowds warmed up and needed something to send them over the edge. Hope you love it as much as we do.”

No stranger to the spotlight, L.A-based producer Noizu has maintained a seemingly endless rotation of crowd-favorite hits. A fair share of them have come out from the Insomniac catalog, including the uncompromising roller “Middle,” his whimsical offering “Moon Groove,” and the nostalgia-laced “Summer 91,” the last of which was deemed ‘The Hottest Record in the World’ by Annie Mac, and went on to become certified-Gold in the UK.

Meanwhile, NYC native Westend is holding his own on the other end. He originally debuted on the Insomniac imprint with his punchy yet polished four-track ‘Clubble’ EP in 2020. The subsequent two years saw him looping back around with his hedonistic club track “Life Of Sin” featuring Ranger Trucco, and his moody, melodic follow-up “Moderation (At Night)” alongside Eluera. Throughout the process, Westend was voted #16 in the ‘Top 101 Producers’ of 2022, in addition to emerging as one of the best-selling tech house artists on Beatport of all-time.
