Max Styler Drops Sophomore Release on Insomniac Records With Hypnotic, Slamming Single “Satisfy” – OUT NOW
A house music legend in the making, Max Styler returns for his sophomore single on Insomniac Records with “Satisfy,” a highly requested ID that has been piling on the pleasure during the latter half of this year’s festival season.
Fresh off the success of his euphoric label debut “Amazing” back in August, Max Styler returns to the Insomniac imprint to dish out a peak-time DJ tool that couldn’t have arrived any sooner. Garnished with several of his own vocals, “Satisfy” is a slamming and hypnotic number, already proving to be an absolute weapon in Styler’s own sets as of late. Forged with growling synth one-shots, cascading horn stabs, snappy hats, chunky kicks, and trippy bleeps, this potent combination is made even more effective with the help of the commanding vocal snippets he recorded to take the track over the edge.
Max Styler says that “Satisfy” emerged from the post-party rush that came after performing at a string of wall-to-wall shows, and was conceived on-the-fly once he had some time to collect his thoughts.
“‘Satisfy’ came about pretty quickly,” he says. “I’d just got home from a weekend run of shows and realized that I wanted something bouncier for my sets. I’ve been loving the 16th-note basslines, but I was missing that classic donk-bass, and all the feelings and energy that it evokes.”
Over the next two days, “Satisfy” was born.
“Overall, the track wasn’t screaming for a big upfront vocal, so I ended up writing a few lyrics and recording some small vocal bits myself. It’s bouncy, it’s sexy, and fun as hell to play in my recent sets.”
Already a tried and tested weapon that’s been certified by groove technician himself, “Satisfy” is also enjoying early live support from Styler’s heavyweight peers, Dom Dolla and Fisher. It is surfacing in the aftermath of one of his biggest tours to date, which has seen him hit the road non-stop across more than 50 dates sprawled across North America. He’s rounding out the hectic schedule with upcoming dates plotted at Escape Halloween and Countdown NYE. Amongst all the touring, he’s also been relentless in the studio releasing a barrage of new music each month, earning plaudits from tastemakers such as Gorgon City, Tiësto, Calvin Harris, Vintage Culture, Nora En Pure, MEDUZA, and Wade.
Eliciting the state of contentment alluded to in its title, “Satisfy” is a dancefloor-pleasing track made at the hands of one of the most in-demand artists currently dominating house music at the moment.
