Zeds Dead Drops Latest House Banger ‘One Three Nine ft. Scrufizzer’ on Night Bass

Zeds Dead Drops Latest House Banger 'One Three Nine ft. Scrufizzer' on Night Bass

ZEDS DEAD UNVEIL LATEST HOUSE RELEASE “ONE THREE NINE FT. SCRUFIZZER” VIA AC SLATER’S NIGHT BASS IMPRINT

Zeds Dead revamps their House music endeavors and branch further into that world with a new single, “On Three Nine,” on AC Slater‘s House imprint, Night Bass. With this latest release, the duo hopes to bring even more attention to their wide sonic palette and interests outside of Bass music.

Zeds Dead is currently ushering in a whole new cast of artists and sounds from the world of House music via their new imprint, Altered States. The mission here remains the same as with Deadbeats — showcase showstopping talent, inspirational stories & accessible music to grow the electronic community worldwide. Last year, the label released tracks from Nostalgix, Mary Droppinz, AYYBO, Mz Worthy, & More.

Zeds Dead has helped define vintage dubstep sound in America; popularizing the genre in the late 00s out of Toronto. Generations of artists count the Canadian duo among their biggest inspirations, fueled by the creation of the Deadbeats and Altered States labels. Deadbeats has become a widespread home for the idea of North American dubstep, while playing host to a diverse cast of artists and styles of bass music. This openness to explore culture trends and work with its creators led to the birth of Altered States, which further adventures into a wide array of sonic stylings.

The modern festival landscape with tens of thousands of people dancing, shaking, grooving to pounding bass and ground-shaking drops has become so well-known that the intensity of the music should now be rendered benign. Still, the radical sonic possibilities and permutations remain limitless. Having been at the forefront of the sprawling genre since 2009, Dylan Mamid (DC) and Zachary Rapp-Rovan (Hooks), aka Zeds Dead, are acutely aware that the genre craves a new wave of innovation.

That’s why when the Toronto-based producer/DJs finally took time off from headlining festivals, they crafted a debut album full of dynamic, forward-thinking songs that defy categorization and disrupt musical foundations.

This past year, Zeds Dead had revamped their influence and acclaim with marquee performances, releases, and their latest nationwide Deadbeats label tour. The Deadbeats tour—the most unique, diverse electronic road shows around—stopped at iconic venues across the country such as Masonic Temple in Detroit, WaMu Theatre in Seattle, The Shrine in LA, The Brooklyn Mirage in NYC, and more.

Further cementing their status as bass music’s finest, Zeds Dead took over Denver this past 4th of July weekend for a 5-set, 3-night run in Denver, the unofficial bass music capital of America. The annual event not only included sold out, back-to-back nights at Red Rocks, but an outdoor Jamboree and 2-set gig at the renowned Mission Ballroom.
