Ali Story Joins Love & Other For ‘Higher Love’

Following on from her release on Axwell’s Axtone for Smile, Ali Story returns with yet another house heater in the form of Higher Love – out on Love & Other.

Hailing from Northern Ireland, Ali Story has been and continues to be at the forefront of female Irish producers. Her debut single with Jaded for Dance Much propelled her straight into the Beatport Tech House Top 10, before she went onto release on a collection of stellar labels including Toolroom, Club Sweat and Axtone.

Having already dropped Wheels In Motion – which was supported on Kiss FM, Radio 1 and numerous Spotify editorial playlists – as well as Smile –  which is just about to hit the 1m stream mark –  Ali Story’s 2021 has been off to a flying start and shows no signs of slowing down this as restrictions lift this week in the UK.

Looking forward to being back on the road to spin her previous releases alongside Higher Love to a crowd for very the first time, Ali Story will be joining the dots between her pre-pandemic shows which included the likes of at Ministry of Sound, Egg, Basing House, Sankey’s (Ibiza), Paradiso, ABODE in the Park and DSCNNCT.

Known for her proud heritage, which sees her join the likes of Shane Codd, Bissett , Obskur & Welshy as Ireland’s most promising dance acts, Ali Story shows that it’s time for the girls as she channels her classical training into perfectly produced house music. Speaking of her latest release she explained:

“I’ve had a fast and brilliant path into electronic music, absorbing and channelling influences from so many sounds, labels and artists. I love writing tunes from style to style that encompass a genuine piece of my classical background and ‘higher love’ is no exception with my signature keys and strong vocal melodies. This track is all about good feels and living life! Times are changing and have changed. This is a time for introspection, to listen to the inner you and to do the things that you have always wanted to pursue. Dance, sing, play piano, paint, write, read, cook whatever it is. Do it with love.”

Looking to bring in a lot of love with her latest single, Ali Story’s release features traditional house piano chords, additicitive synth structures as well as a soulful topline to make for a joyous house heater, destined to be played in the clubs this weekend.
