Poly Powder’s “Deep in My Mind” and “Ocean” : A Reflective Journey in Deep House and Trance.

Poly Powder, a German music producer born in 1985 near Frankfurt am Main, embarked on his journey into music production after founding his own family. It took time and perseverance, but he ultimately found the perfect balance between his two main genres, Deep House and Trance.

His creative output is shaped by a broad spectrum of influences, including contemporary artists like Ben Böhmer, Nils Hoffmann, Yotto, Boris Brejcha, and Romain Garcia. He also draws from the works of established figures such as Kai Tracid, Paul van Dyk, Moby, Above & Beyond, and Gabriel & Dresden. Beyond the dance music scene, Poly Powder is inspired by the cinematic compositions of Hans Zimmer, the innovative sounds of Drake, and the poignant music of Herbert Grönemeyer.

In 2023, Poly Powder received recognition and support from the prominent DJ and Producer Duo ANG, based in Los Angeles. His track “Deep in my mind” serves as a personal reflection, with each element of the production process driven by his emotional connection to the music. He typically starts his compositions by playing the piano, allowing his intuition to guide the development of the melody.

Poly Powder from KIFFIX makes waves with "Deep in My Mind" and "Ocean."

Poly Powder’s track “Ocean” stands as a tribute to the marine environment, similar to the work of Nora en Pure. Incorporating whale calls, the soothing sound of waves, and a profound bassline, the track immerses listeners in an experience akin to being a whale navigating the vast, mysterious ocean, capturing both its serene beauty and underlying dangers.
