Mia Moretti teams up with Vonita White to give a rare forgotten house cut a fresh fix with ‘Best I Can’.

DJ/producer, label head and songwriter Mia Moretti’s sound, which has captivated audiences from nightlife to
fashion, has long been driven by her personal vinyl collection, lovingly amassed over twenty years of digging.

Her recent ‘Tambor’ EP, sampling Colombian Bullerengue legends Toto La Momposina and Pertrona Martinez,
welcomed an expansive remix package with interpretations from DJ Minx, KILIMANJARO, Malóne, PAUZA and
Cut Chemist, while her 2024 has seen stand out sets at Coachella and Primavera Sound through to KOKO
(London), Factory Town (Miami) and DC10 (Ibiza).

Once again, Moretti digs deep in her personal crates to bring yet another rare cut to life via her Spaghetti Moretti
Records imprint. Miss Vonita White, the original Baltimore-born singer behind the Jasper Street Co. record first
sampled by Moretti, joins the LA-based DJ in the studio 30 years later to record a new vocal for the track,
breathing new life into the house classic.

‘Best I Can’ opens with a pulsing bassline fit for the heart of the dancefloor, joined quickly by livewire Latin
percussion before Vonita White’s soaring voice cuts through the mix, pushing powerful vocals straight through the
club-focused rhythm. Blending vintage touches with fresh flavours, Moretti delivers yet another record destined to
capture the imagination of DJs and dancers alike.
