Hammer Shares ‘PerfeKt’ EP On Nein Records

Irish-born producer and DJ Hammer returns with his latest EP, PerfeKt, set for release on Nein Records, out now.

Known for his deep arpeggios, analog synths, and euphoric melodies, Hammer delves into darker territory with this release, offering two tracks that explore the depths of late-night dancefloor energy.

The title track ‘PerfeKt’ is a clanking, dark warehouse thumper that twists and turns throughout its high-wire ride, embodying a raw, industrial energy. The second track, ‘Fantasia’ nods to pulsing Italo influences, arpeggiating its way to a driving, hypnotic finale. The EP also features a remix by Nein Records’ own Tronik Youth, who revs up the black acid edge and intensifies the metallic elements of the original track.

Hammer, a Belfast-born artist based in Glasgow and London, has established himself as a key figure in the electronic music scene. Beyond his solo work, he is the founder of two influential labels, Remmah and Italo Hiits, which showcase his distinctive sound and spotlight rising talent. Remmah, now on its 20th release, has launched the careers of artists like Anna Gram, Kilimanjaro, and Stevie Cox, cementing its reputation as a hub for cutting-edge music.

In 2024, Hammer’s collaboration with Bicep earned widespread airplay on BBC Radio 1 and 6 Music, while releases with He.She.They Records and a vinyl-only EP on Skylax Records highlighted his versatile production skills. His performances at iconic venues such as Panorama Bar and Fabric, and festivals like Glastonbury, Love International, AVA, and Houghton, have made him a sought-after name on the global stage.

Looking ahead to 2025, Hammer shows no signs of slowing down. A series of remixes for labels like Eskimo Records and Midnight People kicks off the year, alongside a heady collaborative EP with Los Angeles producer SONNS, set for release on Unknown To The Unknown. April will bring another exciting project: a homegrown release with Anna Gram on Correspondant. The 20th release on Remmah will also drop this year, featuring Hammer’s trademark sweeping synths and a standout vocal performance by Lili Chan.

Beyond his music, Hammer is actively supporting his Glasgow community. In partnership with arts charity Yardworks, he leads sound and art workshops, while his masterclasses with the electronic music academy Subsine foster creativity and mentorship for the next generation of artists.
