I Am Boleyn Drops Tokyo Project Remix of ‘Just Friends’

Featured UFO 2021

Pop polymath I Am Boleyn returns with a searing, futuristic club oriented remix of ‘Just Friends’ by Italian DJ / producer Tokyo Project (Giulio Tosi) out this summer. Thanks to his own characteristic sound which combines future house and melodic house, Tokyo Project has worked with names such as Don Diablo and worked with labels Strange Fruits and Proximity.

“Lately I was inspired by deeper emotional moods with a melancholic touch, my collaboration with I Am Boleyn was the perfect opportunity to fuse my style with the distinct dream synth pop. This remix’s nostalgia beings back past experiences I have had.”

Dubbed V Magazines ‘New Favourite Artist’, I Am Boleyn spends her time between London and Stockholm, working with renowned Swedish collective FMLY STHLM. The F9 remix of her first single Too Much charted number 12 in the UK Dance Music Charts. Influenced by Robyn, Mo, Goldfrapp and MS MR, her take on electro-pop brims with hints of neon lit Berlin bars with a futuristic twist of Blade Runner.

After the release of Too Much she played sold out ‘Dazzling’ (Daily Mail) shows at the Peppermint Club in Los Angeles, Laylow in London and Art Basel Miami. Her video for Limit of Love was officially selected for the London Music Video Awards in 2020.
