Australian DJ & Producer Sass Drops a New Record Label – ‘Sassinated’

‘Sassinated’ is a new record label by Sass that first started off as a mixtape series. Sass wanted to expand and have a platform for herself and other producers to further push the sounds she creates and plays. Her mission statement is ‘If I’d play it, I’ll release it’​. ​The genre generally lies within the Bass House/EDM spectrum.​ ​The first official releases on the label just dropped and they are remixes of her recent EP ‘Conquer’. The original EP was actually released under ‘Sassinated’ earlier this year but it was not formally announced and was the catalyst for creating the label.

CONQUER EP (THE REMIXES)

Conquer EP (The Remixes) brings upon a fresh variety from four up and coming artists including the original herself, Sass.

The EP kicks off with local Brisbane boy ‘Data Roaming’ giving ‘Beyond’ a serious re-make! It’s got all the right makings for a stomper of a Bass House track!

Next up, it’s the VIP, Sass does a rework of ‘Destiny’ taking it down a dark and powerful path with a big bass horn and a thumping off-beat sub wrapped around nice synths that tease the melody.

‘Conquer’ gets On Fleek’s signature deep, dark and extraterrestrial sounds, with lush synths and a detailed approach. And lastly, Irish boy KRSH gives ‘Beyond’ one massive drop that builds into another, adding a catchy top line that gets stuck in your head!
