Siege & Boris Drop Final Club Weapon for 2021 ‘Journey’ on Toolroom Records

If you were looking for one last club weapon to sign off 2021 in style then look no further, as Mark Knight’s popular imprint label Toolroom Trax is set to deliver the goods you want.

With 2022 just around the corner, Belgian DJ & producer Siege has partnered up with one of New York City’s finest, DJ Boris to drop a slice of Tech House that will undoubtedly soundtrack your dance floor movements as we roll into the new year.

With both artists being Toolroom veterans in their own right, ‘DJ Boris’ makes his welcome return to the label since his 2019 release ‘What We Need’. Siege on the other hand, has had a busy year with releases on both Toolroom & Trax from the feel-good Disco hit ‘Reach Out’ to his collab with poet Maia Mayor ‘Monster’.

The pair are dialling up the heat on this one, as Siege & DJ Boris are set to take you on a deep ‘Journey’ with their latest Trax offering. A heavy hitter from the get-go, ‘Journey’ is a solid cut of club focused House that packs a punch.

Featuring a signature thumping groove and rolling Tech House bass line that the pair are known for, Siege & DJ Boris build the record around a lush vocal sample repeating the line – ‘let me take you on a journey’. Layered with synthesized bleeps and bloops that fittingly squeeze in around the track, creating a powerful club weapon to round 2021 off in style. It’s clear that it’s all about the music on this one,
with Siege & DJ Boris staying true to that sentiment.
